The Belt and Road national industrial cooperation delegation constituted by 47 government officials in 16 countries visited China Optics Valley and had a discussion with us at a seminar. Cynthia, our international marketing department manager attended this seminar and made a speech.
The meeting pointed that The Belt and Road runs through the continents of Asia, Europe and Africa, with the active East Asian economic circle at one end and the developed European economic circle at the other end. More than 60 countries are involved which have large development potential and various resources and can complement each other well economically. Their cooperation potential can create opportunities for the development of international trade. In the future, it is very critical for foreign trade companies to seize the opportunities of The Belt and Road construction.
According to the first quarter statistics of the General Administration of Customs, import and export between China and EU increased by 16.9% and import and export between Chia and ASEAN increased by 25%, reflecting the essential role of The Belt and Road. Besides, import and export between China and some countries along The Belt and Road also increased dramatically. Import and export Between China and Russia, Pakistan, Poland, Kazakhstan and India increased by 37%, 18.7%, 19%, 69.3% and 27.7% respectively. Since The Belt and Road Initiative was put forward, countries along The Belt and Road have reacted positively to it. Cynthia pointed that good policy has helped build a new platform for foreign trade. Thus, China’s import and export companies are supposed to seize the opportunity to take an active role in going out under the guidance of government and abandon the traditional passive marketing pattern. She also said that trade data will become the main way to develop customers in the international market, so only by using big data to make statistical analysis, can active and precise marketing be achieved.
The fluctuation of many countries’ trade volume and trade policy usually depends on their port and logistics efficiency, customs and border management policies, regulatory environment and financial development conditions and the change of these indicators is unknown. It is important to estimate the indicator system and evaluate the degree of trade facilitation so as to support bilateral trade policy. Only by processing data rapidly based on big data technology and analyzing import and export data between different countries can we estimate the added value of trade accurately.
The Belt and Road strategy meets the common need of countries along The Belt and Road and provides new opportunities for them to complement each other’s advantages and develop international cooperation. As the pioneer in the global trade big data industry, we will provide precise, timely and detailed trade data for foreign trade companies and devote ourselves to making intelligent analysis of international trade data. Additionally, our company will also make top-level design and planning from the national strategy and policy level and make full use of our resource advantage to make greater progress in the future. This seminar deepened the mutual understanding between BTD and the delegation and lay a good foundation for future cooperation. we also realized The Belt and Road policies and the new situation created in global trade development. We will continue to strive for excellence and cooperate with foreign trade companies to explore unknown markets.
