In the first four months, Ningbo's total import and export volume exceeded 350 billion yuan, an increase of nearly 40% year-on-year

Ningbo's foreign trade exports increased by nearly 40% year-on-year from January to April

According to statistics from Ningbo Customs, the total import and export volume of Ningbo's foreign trade from January to April reached 357.97 billion yuan, an increase of 37.7% compared with the same period last year (the same below); among them, exports were 225.25 billion yuan, an increase of 36.4%, and imports were 132.72 billion yuan, an increase of 40%.

As the main force of import and export in the city, private enterprises imported and exported 250.8 billion yuan, an increase of 42.3%, accounting for 70.1% of the total import and export volume of the city during the same period.

The European Union, the United States and ASEAN are the largest trading partners

The European Union (excluding the United Kingdom, the same below), the United States and ASEAN are the top three trading partners.

From January to April, Ningbo's imports and exports to the EU, the United States and ASEAN were 61.78 billion yuan, 59.87 billion yuan and 38.81 billion yuan, respectively, up 35.7%, 51.9% and 31.1%, respectively. The three together accounted for 44.8% of the city's total foreign trade value during the same period.

In addition, Ningbo's imports and exports to countries along the "Belt and Road" were 99.21 billion yuan, up 31.9%, accounting for 27.7% of Ningbo's total imports and exports during the same period. Imports and exports to 17 Central and Eastern European countries were 11.96 billion yuan, up 48.8%.

Exports of both electromechanical products and labor-intensive products increased

Electromechanical products are the main export commodities, with exports of 129.18 billion yuan, up 42.1%, accounting for 57.3% of the city's total exports.

Exports of labor-intensive products were 53.73 billion yuan, up 22.8%.

Imports of metal ores and mineral sands increased significantly, with imports of 15.54 billion yuan, up 97.3%. Among them, imports of iron ore and its concentrates were 13.03 billion yuan, up 96.3%, and imports of copper ore and its concentrates were 1.32 billion yuan, up 128.9%. Imports of unwrought copper and copper materials were 13.21 billion yuan, up 70.8%.

In April, Ningbo's imports and exports were 98.55 billion yuan, up 29%; among them, exports were 62.69 billion yuan, up 24.6%, and imports were 35.86 billion yuan, up 37.4%.
